Breaking Coffee Records in Puerto Vallarta

Aiming to surpass the current record held by Germany, the incredible tourist destination of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico believes it has what it takes to gather together 10,000 coffee drinkers, both locals and tourists alike, to rally the “largest number of coffee drinkers simultaneously” as the city vies to land its name in the Guinness Book of World Records.  This exciting event, which will help further promote the wonders of Puerto Vallarta, is set to take place this coming December 16, 2017.  Germany currently holds the record for an event (which took place in 2009) when 8,162 people drank coffee at the same time.  The event in Puerto Vallarta was first announced 9 months prior to its date so that the city has adequate time to properly plan and promote it.

The Guinness Book of World Records is one of the most popular books in the world, with more than 3 million books sold which have been published in 22 different languages and distributed in 100 countries.  It also has a strong following on social media, with more than 12 million visitors to its Facebook page, 14 million visitors to its website and over 50,000 followers on Instagram.  With so many people clearly interested in the Guinness Book of World Records, it makes holding a record within the organization a very desireable thing indeed and that is precisely why Puerto Vallarta is organizing this event to potentially land its name in the book.  The city of Puerto Vallarta will be looking to its locals and visitors to harness the power of social media in order to spread the word about the event.  The more participants the better, and social media is a wonderful tool in getting information out to the masses.

Coffee plants grow naturally in many areas near Puerto Vallarta, allowing local residents and tourists alike to experience the incredibly fresh flavors of locally grown coffee.  This special event will not only help bring a greater awareness and appreciation of this delicious treat that can be sourced locally, it will also be a terrific reminder that Puerto Vallarta is a remarkable world-class destination that offers some of the most unique vacation experiences on the planet.  Organizers of the event hope that the waterfront Pacific coast city will garner attention on an international scale thanks to its new connection with the Guinness Book of World Records.

Why not join in on the fun of this thrilling event when Puerto Vallarta attempts to gain its place in the Guinness Book of World Records!
